Why I built Speak Brain
Find kinder words, even when you can’t think straight.
I started building Speak Brain to understand my family. The three of us think in really different ways, and when we couldn't see eye to eye, I didn't always understand what was going on, or how my words were received through their brains.
My brain works in its own way too. Mine gets anxious when things pile up, and all work and no play makes me not very nice to be around. That changes how I ask for things and how I'm perceived in the moment.
So Speak Brain works for every brain in your home, including yours. Everyone gets a profile in their own words, and they can see everything that's saved about them.
Think of it as a little help finding words that communicate what you want more lovingly, so the people in your family understand each other a bit better. Hopefully you'll need us less over time.

The ideas behind it
Speak Brain is inspired by their work. It isn't endorsed by them, and it isn't therapy.
From a parent who tried an early version.
I just plugged in two scenarios with my autistic toddler from the last 24 hours and WOW. I feel validated that ALL the damn books I've read have actually stuck and I'm not a total failure.
